Research & Planning: Best Friend Character 'Ryan'

As per our last meeting, me and my partner have decided to include a new character in our movie trailer. We came to this idea after analysing the successful movie trailer for 'I give it a year'. I have already posted our new script, which refers to a character named 'Ryan'.

Ryan is the male protagonist's best friend. His name is not referred to in the trailer. Ryan acts as a way to inject comedy into our trailer; as we discovered this was lacking through our last audience feedback.

Ryan will be played by myself, Jake Thompson. This is purely because of logistics. We have been unable to source any other actors to play this role, and the deadline for this project is looming. I have included a headshot of myself below, for reference.
