This is my second draft of my film poster. The main photograph is of the male protagonist and his ex girlfriend (his high school sweetheart) lay together on a sofa, whilst the male protagonists current girlfriend is sat on the opposite end of the coach, with a blank/angry expression on her face. The comedic element comes from the contrast between the two lovers' happy faces, and the current girlfriend's blank expression. The romance can be seen from the loving relationship evident between the male protagonist and his ex girlfriend (they are lay next to each other, I apologise for my lack of drawing skills). Above the photo is the title of the film, Double Ex. The text is slanted at the same angle as the sofa (and as the banner below the photograph). Above the film name is the names of the three 'star' actors playing the main characters in the film. Below the photograph, as mentioned, is a slanted banner. The banner gives important information about the release date of the film, and it also displays a (temporary, yet to be decided upon) film tag line. Below the banner is the usual movie credits (written in steeltongs font), and the production/distribution company names/logos. I have also included a link to the film's website, and put the film's certificate rating (12A) in the bottom right hand corner.
