Second Proposal:
"Male character moved from his family home in the country to go and work in the city a few years ago. He comes back home one weekend to see his parents, he brings along his current girlfriend. His parents are good friends wit his ex who was also his high school sweetheart. Seeing and spending time with his ex brings back some good memories and feelings; they end up falling for each other again and when the weekend is over he decides he is not going back to the city and breaks up with his current girlfriend to be with his ex."
Treatment:
We have chosen this idea as we believe it is more practical for us to produce as we will be able to use younger actors in the story line. We will be using mostly younger actors as they are more widely available to us. We will, however, be changing the plot a little to compensate for our younger actors.
Instead of the protagonist going off to work in the city, he will go off to a University in the city and leave his high school sweetheart at home. The main themes of the plot are the same, but it has been tailored to suit our younger actors.
Our next step is to source and speak with potential actors.
