Research & Planning: London Photos

At the beginning of October, I went on a 3-day trip to London with the rest of my Media Studies class. Whilst I was there I visited the British Film Museum. It wasn't particularly helpful, but it was very interesting to see how movies costumes/props have improved over the years. I was slightly disappointed because the Harry Potter exhibition had moved to the recently opened Harry Potter World. Never mind. I also visited the BBFC offices, where I learnt about their guidelines and how they give films/trailers/advertisement's certificates. The case study's the presenter used were very interesting and quite shocking at times. I was given a booklet that had all the information in, which will be handy when it comes to revising. I asked the woman from the BBFC why they lost the rights to classify video games and why PEGI was set up as a separate body - she didn't seem too happy with this question and simply told me to refer to the PEGI website. She seemed quite bitter over it.
